A world-building studio

Studio Dream Factory is a Los Angeles-based transmedia studio and creative agency.

We craft holistic, narrative-driven worlds rooted in culture, community, taste, and strategy. Operating across and beyond the boundaries between channels, environments, and formats we transform ideas and perspetives into self-perpetuating, cross-platform ecosystems. Our work spans immersive experiences, live events, social presences, visual identities, brand strategies, campaigns, content, editorial systems, original in-house projects, and more—not as isolated categories, but as integrally connected components of a cohesive point of view.

What we do

We create transmedia stories, experiences, identities, and creative systems designed to move across platforms and audiences.

Our work includes immersive events, experiential activations, brand strategy and identity, campaign concepts, content systems, editorial platforms, narrative development, creative assets, video production, community engagement, and original IP.

Whether building for a client or developing work in-house, we approach each project as a world—a set of ideas, visuals, stories, spaces, interactions, and touchpoints that people can enter, experience, inhabit, share, remember, and cocreate.

Our Story

Studio Dream Factory was assembled through years of collaboration across immersive theatre, media, art, performance, and live production.

Today, the studio has evolved into a contemporary LA-based transmedia practice led by Andrew Niklas Curtis and Ava Tichenor. Together, they shape SDF’s creative and strategic direction, combining artistic direction, world-building, brand strategy, design, media, editorial, and production.

The result is a studio built for work that is imaginative, precise, and designed to travel — across formats, contexts, and communities.
