Overview

For the 2022 launch of The Butcher’s Daughter’s West Hollywood location, the creative challenge was to translate the restaurant’s established New York-rooted brand equity to a new physical outpost on the opposite coast. Through short-form video, promotional campaigns, event programming, social-first content, and experiential production, the team helped build early awareness, local recognition, community engagement, and cultural traction for Butcher’s WeHo in Los Angeles.

The work included a series of vertical shorts designed for social distribution, capturing the restaurant’s food, beverage, atmosphere, and guest experience through quick, narrative-driven content tailored to mobile viewing formats. These assets translated The Butcher’s Daughter’s in-person hospitality world into a flexible stream of social content while beginning to develop the narratives, micro-characters, and recurring moments foundational to ongoing brand world-building.

The team also supported the digital launch of “The Butcher’s Breakfast Club,” an ongoing weekday morning special built around a fixed-price, all-you-can-eat-and-drink breakfast format. To introduce the campaign and generate early social momentum, the team produced a friends-and-family influencer activation at the West Hollywood location, coordinating local creators and capturing shareable content around the offer, atmosphere, and guest experience. The campaign ultimately generated over four million online views, driving awareness and traffic to the restaurant’s website, social channels, and physical establishment.

Additional live programming and experiential production further grounded the new location within its physical space and local community. For the live event “Champagne Wishes & Caviar Dreams,” the team supported an art, music, tasting, and nightlife experience through event photography, vertical video, and promotional collateral design, capturing the collaborators, partners, patrons, and social energy that brought the evening to life.

Together, the work established a flexible ecosystem of digital, social, promotional, experiential, and archival assets that supported the location’s launch strategy and extended The Butcher’s Daughter’s presence beyond the restaurant itself. By pairing the brand’s broader identity with a distinctly West Hollywood context, the team helped position the new location as both a recognizable extension of The Butcher’s Daughter universe and a culturally grounded hospitality destination in its own right.

This live brand activation event shortly following the restaurant’s opening its doors was hosted in-house at The Butcher's Daughter West Hollywood, in partnership with beverage sponsors Dreamcôte, Treveri Cellars, and By Parvine. The event featured a collaboration with Disco Cubes and a night of live music, craft beverages, food tasting, art, dancing, and guest photoshoots for a highly social, experience-driven occasion.
